New carseat

William outgrew his old carseat, so we've moved on up to the big one. I think he's more comfortable in it (when he's awake) because he has so much more room. The only problem is when he falls asleep....

I think we've solved the problem now though, or at least I hope we did. We found his old head support pillow from when he was an infant and put it in the new one. Now it holds his head better when he snoozes :)

Vicksburg

William met his Uncle Tom last weekend. Tom flew in from Vail to visit for the week.

Miss Joy also stopped by to see William.

While we were in Vicksburg, we drove down to see the river. It is so high and is supposed to get even higher!!

William is 6 months!

We went for his 6 month check-up this morning.

Stats are:

Length - 29 inches (off the charts)
Weight - 19.9 lbs (90% percentile)
Head - 45 1.2 cm (90% percentile)

Weekend

We had a great weekend. We left early Firday morning for Oxford - and thank goodness we did because the bad weather came not too long after.
We had a baby shower for Lain on Saturday. Baby Georgia is expected to arrive in early June. Then we stopped at Uncle Tommy and Libba's new old house in Carrollton on the way home Sunday.

Cousins!
August & Asa (5 1/2 mo) Jessie, Sofie (1 1/2 yrs) & Albe (2 1/2 mo), Meg & William (6 mo)

William's first tooth!

William got his first tooth 2 days shy of his 6 month birthday. He is so proud of it :) The other is right there about to sprout out any day now.
