William's first Christmas

We had a great Christmas. Ben, William, Madison and I went to Cleveland on Saturday. Then we got up early Christmas morning and drove to Vicksburg. We got to visit with lots of family and friends and meet lots of new little ones! We came home today exhausted, but smiling :)

Finally....new post!

Finally...we have internet and I have a few minutes to write a new post. We have been doing good...busy October & November, but things are finally starting to settle down a little bit. William is doing great! Growing more and more each day. We are in love with our little boy.

We're In!

We are in our new house! We still have a few boxes left to unpack, and haven't set up our computer yet. So I have very limited access to the internet at the moment and I won't be posting much.
William is doing good! Growing like a weed. I promise to post pictures as soon as I can.

We have such a busy week this week...we are closing on both houses and moving (all with a 3 weeks old)
Crazy, I know...

Thanks to Lain and Momma for all their help last weekend with packing...we got a lot accomplished, but we still have lots more to go.
William is doing great! He is growing and becoming more alert every day. He is really strong and is holding his head up every now and then. He is smiling more (which I LOVE to see) and I think I even heard him chuckle the other day :)

William had his first pediatrician's appt on Friday morning. He got a good report and is one ounce from his birth weight (which was 7 lbs, 10 oz). He is eating like crazy now, so I am sure he is over that by now.
Afterwards we met my parents, James & Kim at the cabin for the weekend. It was so nice to get out of the house and it was a beautiful weekend. Grandmomma and Grandaddy came over on Saturday as well. William loves the cabin - especially the rocking chairs and the swing on the porch :)
He is a very good traveler too!
Madison is doing good. She is very protective of William, which is sweet, but I think she is missing having all of our attention. She needed the weekend vacation just as bad as I did.

Oh, and I finally got my wheels (per dr's orders) back as well!! It's been a good week.

Grandmomma and Grandaddy came to visit William again this past Saturday. They were here for his birthday, but wanted to see him again!

William James Harris

William James Harris was born on October 5, 2007 at 12:39 pm.
He weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz and is 20.5 inches long. He is absolutely beautiful!!!
I can't get a picture to upload, but I hope to when I get to the computer at home.

We are all doing great.

I don't think she realizes all the changing that is about to go on in the Harris home.....but I know she will love the baby :)

Friday's the day

If not before...
We went to the doctor for the last time before D-Day (delivery day). I am progressing normally and everything is fine.

We are nervous, excited, but most of all ready to meet our baby!!

37 weeks, 4 days

Here I am at 37 weeks, 4 days. Ben and I were on our way out to dinner for our 3rd Anniversary when he took this picture of Madison and me. We went to Walker's and it was very good!
Right now the plan is to induce on Oct 5th, unless Baby Harris decides to come sooner. We are all doing good. Just ready and waiting :)
