a bachelorette party

We celebrated Memrie with a trip to Greenwood over the weekend. We enjoyed a cooking demo/dinner Friday night at Viking, a spa day Saturday and dinner at Lusco's Saturday night and we all stayed at the Alluvian. It was such a fun weekend!!

We laughed, we danced, we ate, we (some of us) drank, we slept, we ate, we spa-ed, we walked, we ate, we laughed...now we are on to getting Memrie hitched :)

Snow Day!

Eating "snow toast" aka french toast on our snow day

We had a great time in the 5-6 inches of snow we got!

William especially enjoyed eating it.

Wow. Snow in Mississippi...in December...crazy.
We enjoyed it though!!

Then we made Christmas cookies

William worked on the beater for about an hour. No dough was left.

Then we went to the Christmas parade. He loved it!

Dressed as a sheep for the church pageant.

Two sweet sheep (William & Morris)

My view from the second half of the program...my little wandering sheep decided it was more fun to play in the choir loft...

Update...finally

Wow....we've been MIA lately on this blog. I just realized I haven't posted since before Halloween. So here goes...

We went to Carrollton for Thanksgiving weekend. William loves the cabin....he has a blast there.

He really loves riding the 4-wheelers, but what little boy doesn't?

Loves swinging on the porch.

And loves to take walks (well, he runs and we chase).

We spent Thanksgiving day at Lum Reek (Tommy & Libba's house). The cousins had a blast with the jumpy house and their matching capes.

He loves all dogs. Here he is with X-Ray Goodman.

Halloween night he, Issac and Emily were quietly watching Dora in our bed, until they got to jumping!

At the neighborhood Halloween parade.

William was really excited that Uncle Tom came to visit and even convinced him to read a story, or two, or three....

holdin' back tears...

I finally bit the bullet and took William to get a "real" haircut. I think it was time.
