Update

I promise I will get another belly shot up sometime soon...I really just forget :)

Baby Harris is moving and shaking all the time now. It is really fun!
Tonight Ben and I have an infant CPR class and then tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment. I have my glucose test, a sonogram and doctor visit. Hopefully we will know more about Baby H's size and a more accurate EDD (estimated due date).

Otherwise, we are all doing good. Ben and I are both busy with work and Madison is staying really close to me....she knows something is going on, but I don't think she realizes how much her life is about to change. I know she will be a great "momma dog" to the little one.

Madison, Moe, Stuball & Bumpie


This is the crew on the 4th of July. Moe is Katy & Cliff Agnew's studly pup and Stuball and Bumpie are Del & Jes Harrington's girls. Madison is very lucky to have such good friends on the street. We laugh because when we walk (or I should say, used to walk, before I got too slow) we had a rainbow of pups out in front to lead us.
We are sad because the Harrington family will be leaving us and moving to Mobile soon. Madison has already asked for a cell phone so she can stay in touch with Bump and Stu.

Ben's home!

Ben and his dad went to Vail to visit Tom (his brother) for a long weekend. They left on Thursday and came home yesterday afternoon. They had a great time, other than some bad luck on a mountain bike ride...but Ben said it was beautiful there right now. He also said that it would be extremely boring for a pregnant woman (no biking, horseback riding, climbing, drinking, etc) :)
I'm just glad he's home! We missed him.

Madison and I stayed here and hung out in the rain. It has literally rained here everyday for at least a week...I think even longer. I went and ate sushi with Memrie, Claire & Jill on Friday night and then went to Emily Scott's engagement party Saturday night with Beth, Sarah & Memrie. It was fun and good to see Emily.

Nothing much has been happening...just getting bigger everyday!

More baby room

This is the lamp that was in mine and James' room when we were babies and the cross-stich of the prayer was also in my room.


Teresa brought Ben's baby rocking chair yesterday and is bringing a baby picture of Ben too so we can add it to the room. I will send more pictures later as we add more!

Weekend

We had a very productive weekend! Ben finished up painting the baby's room Friday night and then Sunday we got the room all arranged.
My mom and dad came and brought the rocker/glider and took back my old bed. Then Ben and I sucessfully assembled the crib, under Madison's watchful eye of course.
I will post some pictures later this week.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for a checkup. Not excited about stepping on the scale....

Final class!

Last night we had our final childbirth class. They had a little "competition" with the guys to see what team could successfully change their babies diapers the fastest and Ben's team won! It was really funny...this was Ben's first diaper changing experience, and he did good (even if he did hold it by one arm at one point and leave the gown over the babies face for an extended amount of time...) ;)
