Memorial Weekend

Well, we had a great Memorial Day weekend. Ben and I went to Oxford on Saturday and had a fun time at Katie & Jack's party. Then we got up on Sunday and went to Moon Lake (north of Clarksdale) to Natalie & Josh's lake house. We had an awesome time on the boat all day with Nat, Josh, Lain, Tatum, Katie, Adam, Ketrin, Dallas & Allison.
Our dinner at Kathryn's (local restaurant) was terrible, but other than that we had a wonderful time.
And I didn't take a single picture all weekend :(

Back at home, I am dying to get the nursery together....Right now we have a changing table, crib (not assembled), mattress, bassinet, car seat and rug just hanging out in the dining room of all rooms. We have to move the computer, desk, etc into the guest room, move the double bed out and paint the nursery before moving stuff in. So, it looks like the dining room will double as a storage room for a while longer :)
I will try to take a picture of the "baby loot" later and post.

Now, it's back to work!!

Valley of the Dolls

Okay...so I finally read Valley of the Dolls as referred by Laurie, Sarah, Lain and others....and I have to say that the ending was terrible! I am still upset about it and I finished it last night. For those who haven't read or heard about it, it is a book by Jaqueline Susanne and is basically about three friends in the 1940's trying to find love and a career with lots of money. "Dolls" are pills that they take...sleeping ones, speed, etc...
I am now going to rent the movie and see how much like the book it is. I heard Patty Duke plays Neely, one of the girls, so hopefully it'll be good.

Ben's back!!!! Madison and I are really happy :) His flight came in at 11:30 yesterday and we are so happy he is home.

Today we are heading to Oxford for a wedding party for Katie & Jack!

Madison, My #1 girl

This is Madison in her "sports bra" resting on the cold floor right after we got back from our walk. She is such a good girl and loves to walk with her momma. My pace has gotten a little slower in the past couple of weeks but I think she likes it :)
We have been hanging out and bonding while Ben is out of town. I think she secretly loves it when one of us is gone because she usually gets to sleep on the bed with whoever is here. The other morning she was sleeping so hard that when I got up she didn't even budge until I'd showered and gone to the kitchen for oj. And even then she was not to peppy...I guess Mondays are hard for her too :)

Picture of Hannah, me and Price at graduation.
I still can't believe she is almost in college!!

I just got back from a couple of days in Cleveland. I went home for Hannah's graduation Thursday night and then momma and I went to Memphis on Friday. I wanted to go to Pottery Barn Outlet and Houstons to eat :) We accomplished both and picked up dad's new truck while we were there.
Now I am back in Jackson and trying to figure out how to move everything out of the old office/new nursery...hmmm....

18 weeks, 5 days

Well, here I am at 18 weeks and 5 days! I would not pull up my shirt as Ben asked though...Not quite there yet, if ever.
I'm feeling good! I believe the baby is laying on my bladder though, and that means I make frequent trips to the bathroom, but other than that Baby Harris and I are great.

Ben started his new job with JP Morgan Chase on Tuesday and is very busy learning all the new material.

Madison is doing good too. She is such a sweet girl and is also gaining weight (she doesn't want me to be the only one :)

I'm heading to Cleveland today for Hannah's high school graduation - congrats Hannah!!
